The Business Improvement District would like to communicate how we plan to work together for the community during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Gov. Tony Evers ordered the closure of all non-essential businesses starting tomorrow, March 24. and is urging people to stay at home to slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
Many of our local businesses are taking this time to increase their use of online platforms and are exploring creative shopping alternatives in an attempt to make the best of this unprecedented situation they find themselves in.
While we are uncertain as to what will come next, our number one priority will always be the welfare of our community. We will continue to update you on issues that directly affect all of us. There is no doubt that there are some confusing times ahead.
We would like to extend our full gratitude to the individuals and organizations who have taken the necessary precautions for the health and safety of Spooner residents and beyond and to the people in healthcare that are working tirelessly to treat those that are ill.
